Unapologetic, pathetic service @ Bens Panelbeaters

Our insurance company (Outsurance) sent us to Bens in Struben Street, Pretoria, for minor bodywork and chassis repairs. The whole experience was very disappointing.
- The car was in for 6 weeks and we received no correspondence regarding the progress of the work.
- Twice, when we called, they said the car was ready for collection but when we got there it was not. Their only excuse was, "Oh, we thought you were talking about the OTHER Honda that's here."
- When we finally got the car back, the bumper did not fit onto the car properly and their excuse was that it was not their fault, the insurance assessor had ordered the wrong part.
- A day after collecting our car we noticed a panel on the inside above the back door was completely loose and falling off.
After being without our car for 11 weeks (5 weeks waiting for an appointment with Bens and 6 weeks waiting for them to complete the work), we are extremely disappointed with the service from Bens, and are shocked that this company is recommended by Outsurance.
