Budget Auto Fitment Centre
Poor customer service

Cars & Transport

On 2 July 2013 my brother took my car for a major service at Budget Auto Fitment centre in Cape Town. He arrived there at about 8h45. At 10h38 a guy called Richie phoned me explaining that my car is in fine and that I urgently need to replace my front brake pads and disks. The disks would cost me R1150.00 and the pads R699.00 and I also need to have four (4) special spark plugs fitted at a cost of R320.00. I told him that I did not budget for any items to be replaced and that I will first have to phone my brother and that I would get back to him. At 16h35 my brother and I arrived at Budget Auto Fitment centre to fetch my car (that was not even washed) and I got a surprise that I had to pay an extra R1000.00 for having my own brake pads fitted and for their spark plugs. Richie never phoned me to explain that I will have to pay for the labour to have my own brake pads fitted and neither did he inform my brother. I would like to advise everybody not to ever do business with the Budget Auto Fitment centre in Buitengracht Street, Cape Town since they are very unprofessional, they do not value their customers and they are looking to score extra money from their customers.
