Chevrolet Opel & Isuzu
Faulty Clutch System

Cars & Transport

Hi

my mother bought a 2011 Captiva 2.4 LT AWD brand new, she hasnt had any issues with the car till last weekend when the clutch system packed up. she was advised that it will cost R30 000 to rrepair and also that it is not warranty covered. Being an old lady she accepted this because she just wants her car back but when i searched the internet i came across loads of forums where almost everybody is complaining about the clutch system with most of those complaints saying it packed up within the first year. how many cliets are affected by this? did GM exlude this from their warranty because they know it is a factory fault? why should clients of GM who drive their vehicles with pride be inconvenieved by this? i find it highly unacceptable that a company that rules the motor industry sees nothing wrong with such a trend.
