Ford wants me to pay for their shorty workmanship

I bought a new Ford Focus 1.6 Ambiente 5dr from Ford Silver Lakes, after a two weeks of driving he car i noticed that there was rattling and screeching noise coming from the rear I then notified the sales person who then advise that I can come in and he'll ask one of the guys to check for me however when I went in I was told that I had to book the car in before they can help me contrary to what I was told.

So I booked in the car and was told that they can't hear anything instead they blamed the noise on the bowl of cereal that I left in the car that morning, I tried to explain but all fell on deaf ears the car went in for the same sounds on a numerous occasion, finally they asked that I come in once again but then drive with one of their technicians, who heard to sound but now because I've exceeded 3000km I'm told they'll have to charge me to fix this problem as ford only covers untill 3000km warranty contrary to the 4year/ 100 000km warranty promised by Ford. long story short: they say its difficult to trace the sound thus they'll have to strip the car but I have to pay surely this can't rite.
