Helmet material loose and clips do Not un clip

I won a helmet nearly a year ago. After having it for 3 weeks the material started coming loose over my eyes. Then 2 days ago i could not loosing the clips to take it off. I contacted BMW Customer care. They told me to phone Umhlanga I did they told me to phone Empangeni. So i did spoke to A Mr Vos. Firstly i am not a happy person now i phone 3 people who i think will assist me. My problem is that of telling my story. Then i get told that they first want to find out who sponsored the helmet. Its less than one year old so it should be under warranty. What i would do is make a person happy and say here is a another helmet. Seeing you are wearing our product and i was proud of wearing it. Even thou i ride a Honda VTR 1000.
