Ecm Nissan
Non disclosure of previous work done on vehicle

Cars & Transport

I bought a 2007 Ford Ranger bakkie from ECM Nissan as a dealer through Bid 4 Cars with proof of description that the car had no previous work done. It was noted that a maximum amount of R8000 needed to be spent on the bodywork but no previous work was noted, I paid the bakkie and sent a driver to pick it up. When delivered to me I immediately saw the color difference on right side panels, body putty visible through chip marks, obvious spray on both fenders, inner covers missing, rear tail lights not lining up, body putty cracks on tailgate.
I phoned Ferdi Mcleod to cancel the transaction on the legal basis of misrepresentation and non disclosure of previous work noted. And up to now the dealer is still not cooperating in correcting the problem.
I hope that Nissan can help in this process
