FURIOUS BMW F30 Drive

Cars & Transport

I bought the new F30 BMW 3 series in October 2012. From day one, the wiper blade scratched on the bonnet of the car when washing the windscreen. When I took it back to BMW Zambezi Auto, the service department, as well as the general manager (Mr Gerhard Nel), informed me that is part of the design of the F30 BMW. He continued to say that I should have moved the wiper blades to the top of the windscreen before having the windscreen washed. Apparently I should explain to BMW technician how to adjust the wipers. This begs the question; WHY should this responsibility rest on me, as the client of your product, to explain to BMW technicians how to fix any part of a BMW? -I personally think is mediocre! I would like someone from BMW senior management to contact me ASAP so that we can sort this out, and have the bonnet scratch repaired and the necessary adjustments done. Alternatively, I will have no other option as to take this to the media and inform my fellow consumers what to expect when buying a car worth close to R500 000.00 from BMW.
