Stingy - no tomato sauce!

Firstly, let me stress this was at the Takeaway section of this establishment - NOT the sit-down restaurant.

I was second in the queue, and the large group of people in front of me (at least 8 people) ordered a variety of meals - burgers and chips, fish and chips etc. They asked for tomato sauce, and were told they had to pay R1 each for one of those tiny little sachets!!

They argued a bit, saying that they'd bought so many meals, and surely they could get some tomato sauce, but in the end, they paid for some but were pretty off.

I ordered similar meals for my kids, and "innocently" asked for some tomato sauce only to be met by silence, and the server then walked away - you try and tell kids they can't have tomato sauce with their chips.

Not only is this unbelievably stingy, but there are now at least 10 people who will never go back there.
Furthermore, someone after me ordered a hot dog, and was given a whole squeezee bottle of tomato sauce to help themselves!! What the???

Splash out guys, and give your customers some tomato sauce!!
