Taking Monies from Cards without consent

My wife and I went to Nandos in Honeydew (Eagle Landing) about 2 weeks ago to purchase a meal. We swiped a debit card to pay for the meal, the cashier advised us that the card failed twice. So I paid with an alternate card and left. I then picked up via SMS that the transaction from the debit card did go through (R180 odd) and reported it to Thabo the manager immediately. He advised to give it 3 hours for the reverse to go through. I left it for 24 hours and still nothing. I called Thabo to inform him and he informed me that he will get the card division to call me and get it resolved. I have gotten the call from the Card div but it was the most unhelpful and least informative call i had in years. He told me that the transaction did go through but wanted to verify card details which i did supply to him. On another call he says the transaction did not go through and I needed to go to the bank to resolve the matter. After many frustating days I called Thabo again to inform him that I was getting nowhere and needed the problem to be sorted ASAP. As expected, after chatting to Thabo i have heard nothing for a week now. Maybe Nando's thinks they can ignore it because R180 is small change
