Service could not be worse

On Sunday 3rd November I took some friends to 33 High Street Restaurant for lunch. The starters we received were very good, and when we ordered our main meal, seven of the eight dishes arrived within about 15 minutes. One of the dishes was wrong and we sent it back, only to have it returned to the table. The waiter said that he would be sort it out shortly. That is the last time that we ever set eyes on that waiter. After about 10 minutes I went to see if I could find some cutlery for us to eat this food with. I found some and still waited for my meal, which, until now, has still not arrived. The runner eventually went to find a manager. I told him the story and he said that he would rectify the problem immediately. Nothing happened and after about 15 minutes the runner went to find the manager again. When he came to the table he said that he could not find an order for my meal in the kitchen. He did not even try to rectify the problem.By now my friend had eaten the wrongly delivered dish, we were out of wine, and I was still waiting for my meal. A manageress then came to the table and offered only me an Irish coffee to make amends. I don, t think that we will visit there again.
