Is Mr Delivery Express a home run business?!

I ordered a gift for my boyfriend who stays in East London. On wednesday I received an email from TAKEALOT that Mr Delivery Express will call PRIOR to delivering, which did not happen. At 1pm on wed I received a missed call (I forgot to change the contact no. to my boyfriend's), which i returned later that afternoon. They said they were at the address and no one was at home. I then proceeded to give them my boyfriends number. The following day, I receive a call from Mr Delivery Express addressing me AS THE RECEIVER (not my boyfriend), saying that he was at my gate (NO PRIOR ARRANGEMENT AGAIN!). So as he addressed me as the receiver and I was also expecting a delivery from someone, I made arrangements to go home (in DBN), only to find out that this was the delivery for my boyfriend! when I asked him why did he not contact my boyfriend directly, he insisted that my number was the only one on the system?! So I finally gave him a house number which he could call for the housekeeper to sign, he told me that its too late and they don't deliver past 2pm?! When I asked when he can deliver, he says he has to go back to the office and see what they say! do they run the business based on how they feel on the day?!
