Best Restaurant Manager I've EVER experienced

My mom, sisters and I went to the Spur for the "Burger Special". I thought that we were in for the usual horrible service we receive at the Spur when we were shown to our table by the hostess and after about 10 minutes, the waitress hadn't arrived yet.

The manager, Stephen, noticed this and went to call her. A few minutes later, nobody had served us yet. Stephen then went to fetch a pen and was ready to take our order when our waitress finally arrived. He came back to check what our food order was, so that he could ensure we received it quickly.

My mom and I ordered chocolate shakes. When it arrived, Stephen said that we should try the bar one milkshake next time. I responded saying that I would have loved to have to chocolate hazelnut shake, but we hadn't been given our place mats (with the milkshake menu on it) in time. He grabbed our chocolate shakes and had them changed to the hazelnut ones - which were DIVINE btw.

He then came back several times during the course of the evening to check that we were happy. Never before have I experienced such awesome service at the Spur (or at any other restaurant for that matter). Friendly and professional - thanks Stephen :)
