Restaurant will not take responsibility

The Restaurant would not take responsibility for a dish that was swimming in oil, The dish was a vegetable Bake. I used paper serviettes to mop it up and also asked for bread to mop it up. I could not eat it (vegetable bake). I called the waitress and told her that it was too oily even after the mopping up attempt. She took it to the kitchen and told me that the Management tasted it and said it was not right. The manager came to me and then said it was fine, apparently mushrooms go very watery when baked in the oven.(That's news to me) and it was normal. He then offered me something else from the menu which I refused because I was feeling quite sick on my stomach from the oiliness. I did not touch the two mushrooms that was the bake, only some food around which was only mushrooms and cheese and then sent it back. I feel they should have taken if off my account which he refused to do telling me in one breath how everybody else love this dish but he is taking it off the menu because of complaints. What does a person do in a situation like this?
