Bella Gina
Shocking food

Four of us went to Bella Gina tonight. We ordered starters, mains and drinks. The waitron was pleasant - unfortunately his kitchen let him down! Our starters - chicken livers, were luke warm, the forcaccio "with roasted garlic" had fresh garlic - was merely baked in the pizza oven, the "trio" of bruschetta" was a duo", Mains were disastrous! Two veal with porcini mushrooms - were ordered, one with chips, one with rice, a spaghetti bolognaise and one Fillet with a spicy sauce and chicken livers to be done BLUE! We received two order of veal - both with rice and no porcine mushrooms - only button mushrooms (porcine sauce apparently!), the fillet was grey, the (as described by an 8 year old) bolognaise tasted of old shoes! Inedible veal- tough and not veal at all, frozen veggies and raw chips! We called the manager - a substitute appeared, arms folded, bad attitude and informed us she was ill and on her way to hospital! She informed us the manager was busy! A totally disappointing situation and a restaurant to be avoided. What a let down! We will never go to Bella Gina again! Authentic Italian - NO! - AUTHENTIC AWFUL! Never again - be warned!
