BELLINIS CHARGES US FOR OFF CHEESE CAKE RETURNED

After an average lunch with average service at Bellini Italian Restaurant, I ordered a slice of cheese cake. After taking one bite into this dodgy looking slice, I got an immediate sour off-taste, as though the cheese has molded, especially at the bottom by the biscuit foundation. I asked my friend, a cheese cake connoisseur, to taste a piece and simultaneously he tasted the same thing-a bad inedible off taste. As I returned it to the waiter in almost full form, I was confronted with unnecessary accusations that the off-taste we were tasting was merely the lemon in the cheese cake. After eventually returning it, we received the bill with the cheese cake on it for R39 while it was clearly priced at R35 on the menu. After immediately attempting to remedy this with the manager, the young Italian manager was not interested in what sour fomented mould we were tasting; he rudely rejected our complaint and claimed he tasted it that morning and it was fine. I told him that this was the first restaurant that has EVER charged me for something that was not to my satisfaction, never mind off and moulding and he once again rejected our complaint and forced us to pay R39 for the cheese cake.
