Poor training

Ecently whilst checking in for an international flight my 2 granddaughters decided that they wanted KFC before boarding the fllight.whilst paying with the limited zar currency I had on me I was totally shocked on being informed that KFC does not accept 5cents pieces as payment. I do know for a fact that this is illegal practice to refuse to accept what is legal tender. I was compelled to find an ATM to draw cash to make up the 15 cents that I needed for payment.what shocked me most was that the change from the cashier included a 5cent piece.surely, if this is indeed KFC policy, it would also be unacceptable or illegal to refund me in a coin that you will not accept in the first place.my biggest dissapointment was the look on my 2 little grandchildrens faces when they were told that they had to wait until I found an ATM.little children do not understand the behavior of adults as well as adults do sometimes.or so I thought.whilst in Dubai we stopped at KFC for a quick snack and the 2 children refused to eat at IFC and when prompted the response was that they were the same bad people at the airport.thankfully this IFC was less than 10 metres from a Nando's store.hahaha
