Refrused to accept 5cents from my mothe

My mother was at dichem in raslouw this morning, she has extreme financial difficulty and still needed R1.30 to pay her medication in full, so she only had small change which mostly consisted of 5cents. This cashier refused to accept the money from my mom and completely embarrassed my mom. Eventually another old lady helped my mom with money that this stupid ashier refused to accept. I am appalled. I always use this branch and I even referred the my childrens' school and all 137 of the pupils' parents to buy from them. I'm thinking twice about this. if they do not make this up to my mother, I am going to contact the newspapers, this is completely unacceptable.
