Pathetic restaurant

It is the 2nd time I have walked out of this joke of a Wimpy and I wont be returning.

On entering the store yesterday (22-01-2013) I had to get the attention of the woman behind the desk as the sign says 'please wait to be seated". She then (without greeting and in a very bad tone of voice) told me and my wife to just go sit anywhere. We then proceeded to an available table and waited for a waitron or someone to help us. No waiter could be seen even though the restaurant was empty!!

5 min later we returned to the front desk where we were told by the woman behind the desk that it is the waiters responsibility to make sure we are seen to and not hers so it is not her problem. A waiter then came running to the front to say that we had not been helped because I was on my phone and my wife was standing. My wife was standing because our daughter was getting annoyed and was crawling on the ground, she is 1 year old.

I walked out the store and a few minutes later phoned the manager to explain. The manager apologised and informed me they are aware of the problem and this helps build a case!!! That is all.

This is pathetic and I wont be returning to this excuse of a Wimpy!
