Awesome dining experience ruined by poor service

A belated birthday present in the form of dinner at Pigalle for me on Saturday evening 3 Aug 2013 was ruined by poor service at the end of the evening. We were served very graciously and diligently and suggestions were made by all waiters and manager (taller gentleman). Until our dessert was served. Then not a single waiter or manager would even so much as look at our table.
We eventually decided to go to the front desk ourselves (after trying to get the attention of waiters) as no one was around to give us our bill to be settled - 20-30 min wait.
The lady at the front desk then called 1 of their managers (shorter gentleman) who didn't even introduce himself (but he knew which table we were seated at (127) as he himself had walked straight past us several times) and all we got was an I'm sorry. We paid and left. Won't be going back there in a hurry, even though the food was excellent.
