Die Waenhuis Restaurant
I have never felt so unwelcome

Purchased a Groupon a few weeks ago. On Sunday we were in Die Waenhuis Restuarant's area and decided to pop in to see if they had a free table. There were many open tables, but we were told that they were fully booked on Groupons. Fair enough, we asked if we could make a reservation "The soonest we can book a Groupon in will be on the 21st of July" A little surprised (seeing how empty the diary pages were whilst she was flipping through) we said that was fine. Today we received a phone call cancelling our booking on the 21st of July, the reason we were given "oh no, this Groupon thing is not suiting us" upon asking what will happen to our money, as we had already paid for this booking we were told to take it up with Groupon.

After looking at previous post on Hello Peter, I can only be relieved that Die Waenhuis Restuarant did not ruin my Christmas lunch, or some other important date. Might be a ggod thing that they cancelled on me... Good riddance!
