Supplier not Honouring Purchase (voucher)

I purchased a voucher from Groupon for a sushi or dim sum all you can eat special at the Himalayan Restaurant in Durbanville. I tried on numerous occasions to get a booking. They always happen to be fully booked when I called to make a reservation. After trying for a few months the restaurant eventually told me that they do not want any Groupon voucher business and that I should request a refund from Groupon. I called Groupon in November only to be on hold for about 30min. I went to their offices in Cape Town (which cost me about R50 in fuel and R10 in parking). I spoke to one of their managers requesting them to call the restaurant and negotiate on my behalf but the restaurant refused. Groupon offered me a refund which I was not happy about. Groupon has a legal obligation. If consensus exists between two parties it is an agreement and the proof of this transaction is the sale of the voucher. It even states this in their T & C's. After mentioning this to the manager they offered me the refund plus 50% which I have still not received today. The additional 50 % of the value does not even cover my phone calls made, never mind the fuel and parking.
Not very ethical.
