Spur Steak Ranches
Food not up to standard

It has happened twice now that we went to Wakita Spur for breakfast on a Saturday morning that the bacon was burned badly on the sides (black), and the whole piece of bacon had that burnt taste. As if they cooked the bacon on a dirty grill. It even had black lines that were made by the grill. And pieces of black hard stuff sticking to them. Both times we were there early, so that would mean that that if the grill was dirty it had probably not been cleaned properly the previous evening. This would be totally unacceptable and unhygienic.
The pieces of bacon also looked totally unappetising. Except for the fact that they were burnt, they were also little pieces that looked "butchered". And not one of our plates had the same amount of bacon on it. On both occasions we also waited extremely long for our food. I understand that they are extremely busy, but this should not affect the quality of food you would expect from Spur. My kids love going to the Spur, but I do not want to go to a place where I pay a lot for my food and expect one kind of quality and service, but then receive something completely the opposite.
