Breakfast - Don't do it!

It pains me to write another complaint here about Misty Hills Spur. We decided to try the unreal breakfast for the first time yesterday. Needless to say the place was busy - to be expected when breakfast costs a mere R19.99. However, it's just breakfast being served - eggs, bacon, tomato, chips, toast. Not as if the whole menu is being prepared in the kitchen. Management was not visible. The waitress was slow and would disappear. Drinks came. Then after a while toast - this lukewarm at best and not properly toasted. Then our breakfasts arrived. Eggs were done as ordered. the chips on ALL breakfasts were old and dry - looked like they were Saturday night's chips that were reheated and chucked on plates. I had add-on's for my breakfast - 2 x pork sausages and mushrooms. The add-on's were on the plate - my bacon wasn't (incl. in breakfast). Had to try and find waitress (disappeared) to get bacon and I wanted tomato sauce. 2 x pork sausages - I was expecting two plump bangers - I got two small, thin wrinkled sausages. Hubby had bottomless coffee - also had to keep on looking for her to refill this. Service bad - food barely edible. Never again for breakfast. Hello Wimpy!
