BAD SERVICE

I fetched my kids at school this afternoon to QUICKLY pop through the drive-thru at our McDonalds in Hartbeespoortdam. We waited MORE THAN 15 MINUTES to be served - the guy in front of me kept on whistling and tried to get their attention to get service. As you know, when you go through the drive-thru, you are stuck and you cannot go and drive off - you have to wait in the queue. When it was my turn to place my order, there was NO ONE AT THE TILL!! By now, I was getting furious. After I hooted how many times, the person came to help me. I asked her why we must wait for more than 15 minutes and the reply was just "Oh, sorry". At the next cubicle where you pick up your food, we also had to wait. I lived in the USA for a while and there when you go to a McDonalds, the service is QUICKLY - you basically walk in, place your order, pay and leave. Here in South Africa we work on African Time which is a HUGE frustration!!!
