On the 31st of December 2012 my car keys were out of my handbag from my locker @ work. I phoned Absa idirect to find out if they do cover keys, the consultant who helped me, whose name I forgot, said to me they don't. On friday the 4th of January 2013 after a conversation I had had with 1 of my colleagues who is also insured with Absa, I found out that Absa does cover car keys because they had covered his. I immediately phoned Absa to submit my claim, today is the 16th and I'm still waiting for feedback. I was told the claims department will be in contact with me within 48 working hours, and I'm still waiting. This appalling given I pay my premiums every month and that I had to pay for my car keys out of my own pocket when I am insured.
