Nedbank Greenbacks Redemption

I've redeemed my Greenbacks for Makro Vouchers. I was sent a SMS with my voucher number.

Unfortunately I did not find the time to go to Makro to redeem my voucher and I have lost my SMS. If I remember Correctly the value of the voucher was R800.

When I phoned this morning regarding this matter the call centre agent that assisted me said that it has been more than 3 months and I have forfeited the points.

How can I just loose points like this? Surely your guys can pick up that I have not used the voucher? I really think that this is not on.
