Standard Bank
R5600 for bank charges

I had an cheque account with Standard Bank. I lost my work and didnt have an income for one and a half years. Now that Im employed again Standard Bank phoned me and told me that I owe them R5600.00 on my overdraft Acc. The problem is that I didnt have an overdraft. I went to Germiston branch where they told me that R5600 is bank charges that accumulated in time. Its madness. All the consaltant could tell me is that I shoul have closed my account when I lost my work!!! I logged an complaint online and still didnt hear anything from S/B. I WILL NEVER USE S/B AGAIN IN MY LIFE.
