Appalling Experience
On the 16th April'13 I needed road side assistance from my insurance at the time First for Women; I then spoke to agent named Lucia, I informed her of my situation and that I will not only require a tow truck but a lift to take me home which she immediately informed me that courtesy transport they DO not provide, I then requested to speak to a Team Leader, Lucia (call agent) put me on hold only to tell me her team leader is in a meeting and that they DO provide courtesy transport after all but I would have to pay since it was further that 10Km, when their brochures states otherwise
"If you are stranded more than 100 km away from home after a breakdown and your vehicle needs to be towed to a repairer, this will be arranged
And up to R500 paid towards: " courtesy transport for yourself and a maximum of six persons to one nominated destination
Quoting from first for women brochure that I received
After a long an grueliing arguments with the Team Leader and Manager, it was finally decided that I would be provided with courtesy transport, which I waited for an 01:30 min and had 3 of thier employees with me in the vechile!
