On the 09/01/2013 my car broke down and i called the Auto & General assist line to make use of the road side assistance that is offered as part of my cover.
I called in to the call cenre explained what happened and the call centre agent told me that they will sort everything out.
a hour went by and no one called me so i called back and was told that i will need to pay R2200 for them to take my car back to cape town,
i then spoke to the team leader as to why i have to pay so much, i then agreed as the alternative would be for them to take the car to a dealership in woster and once the dealer has repaired it i will need to find my way back to woster from cape town to fetch the car.
Added to this they would not make any arrangement for me or my family to get back home or put us in a place to stay over night as was indicated on my cover which states that in a case like what i had they would provide cortousy transport for me and six people or provide a hired car for 24hr or put us up in a hotel
they i logged a complaint on monday and have since been given the run around and no answers my ref is 1110208982 called yesterday and was kept on hold for about 45min no one picked u
