Hello Peter. I cannot express to you the anger the ABSA inspires in me. My company received credit cards. They were direct debited to the wrong account within my portfolio. I called my business bank manager who instructed me to write a letter asking for the DD account to be changed. I took the letter to the branch. The manager was on leave. The receptionist directed me to the queue. I stood for nearly an hour. The man at the desk redirected me back to the business manager. Then they told me to call their card centre who will now not do what I need because their policy is that their credit cards will only direct debit from a business cheque account and the others in our portfolio are saving accounts! Its MY money, its MY Bank account and surely I deserve the right to choose for myself. I have had ordinary service from ABSA for years but what really gets me is how they WASTE MY TIME. ABSA does not respect my business, nor does it care for the needs of small enterprise. Don't even bother responding to this ABSA you will never get it right and I am too busy to waste more time on this matter.
