Yesterday, while at work in Pretoria Faerie Glen, I received an SMS from RCS thanking me for my purchase I made at Clicks Scottsburgh (KZN) of R2399 @ 16h54. This was a huge shock for me as for one I am sitting in Pretoria and secondly that I have my card on me and didn't loose it.

I phoned the number for queries on transactions only to be told that I must go to a Police Station and file an Affidavit stating where I was at that specific moment and then need to fax it to them.

I cannot understand how this could happen as it was clearly stated that any purchase made can only be done with a valid SA ID. So this basically means that Clicks breached the contract terms and conditions.

I am very unhappy about this and can't see why I now need to go to a Police station and waste my time when I am not the one at fault here. I got the card initially as a back-up but will no longer keep it as a back-up for other people to use.

I would wish for someone to contact me today and sort this out asap (and not 21 working days as told to me this morning)
