I have been battling for months now to reverse charges on my Clicks credit card (which is actually a FNB card I was later informed) because I did not follow the correct channels (filling out a form etc) to notify FNB (and not CLICKs) of the charges. I sent my notification of the charges to Clicks enquiries (the email address on my Clicks statement) in January but they did not pass this on to FNB . IAfter numerous emails I found out that the Clicks credit card is actually a FNB card and a gentleman of FNB contacted me in April advising me that they had stopped my card and issued a new one due to the fact that only the merchant (who is in a different country every month and I don't know) must cancel the transaction. When I enquired about reversing the charges I was sent an email by FNB informing me that because I had not notify them within 3 months they cannot reverse the charges!! I have proof on email that I notified Clicks in Janaury 2013 already which was 2 mths after the first charge! I did not apply for a credit card through FNB, but Clicks. I feel Clicks neglected to forward my notification and must take responsibility.
