I applied for a re advancement on my current bond with standard bank in February, after spending hours of my time and many phone calls and emails i am still no closer to resolution. I have contacted the complaints department and i am still not getting any further any faster. I have just called and the latest is they need confirmation of employment (which i don't have a problem with) the note was made that they called just after 8 on Friday morning and there was no answer. Firstly my husband's working hours are from 7 am and the work number is manned by a receptionist. Secondly the next time the consultant tried to call was on Saturday (company was closed) Today at 2 pm they had not called to confirm employment yet. I have been waiting it theory two months and laid an official complaint on the 4th of April 2013. I would have expected that a complaint of such service would warrant a call to confirm employment more than just a once off hoo hum kind of an attitude. I would like this pathetic situation corrected and processed once and for all. I am at the end of my string. Besides begging for the readvancement which we are more than qualified for i am lost for words...
