I applied for a loan on the 29th Nov & i was only advised today 5Dec13 that my loan application was rejected as they were unable to confirm employment. This is after i phoned countless times as I was not getting feedback. I was advised on Monday when I phoned customer service that i had given the incorrect number I went to the branch as i was instructed to give an alternative number. The only time that African Bank tried to contact me was on Saturday 30 Nov i had 3 missed calls with no voicemail. I googled the number on Monday & found that it was African Bank & I contacted them. I am very angry because i have wasted my time when i could have been looking for assistance elsewhere. I even contacted my employer to advise that African Bank was going to confirm employment because i found it a bit strange that everytime i phone i was told "unable to confirm employment due to a busy line" thats rediculous i work for a large organisation with a whole block of HR personel & African Bank was unable to confirm employment. I realised once i logged on to this site that BAD SERVICE is a norm for AFRICAN BANK. I applied for a loan to repair hail damage i have a real problem & they wasted my time.
