My debit order for my Revolving Loan went off at a higher instalment at the end of March. I emailed Absa to find out why and they referred me to transactional lending. I phoned transactional lending and they put me through to the pricing department who in turn told me to phone the transactional lending again as they could not help me. I phone transactional lending again and they put me through to collections who then tell me I need to go to a branch to enquire. I went to the branch during my lunch break only to hear that they cannot help as they do not know why my instalment was higher than usual. What a complete waste of time!!! I am extremely appalled at Absa's uninformed, incompetent staff! Why did an increased instalment go off my account and why was I not informed in writting? To my knowledge, my instalment was to remain fixed for the term of the loan and I would like an explanation ASAP!
