On Saturday 6 April 2013 I go to Standard bank The Grove to fetch my Credit Card. After waiting in line for almost 20 minutes I get to the lady at enquiries, Crystal just to hear that my card is on their list and has been received but is no where to be found. She walks to almost everyone and looks in the cabinet numerous times. I have to wait while they squirm around not knowing what's going on. How do you not know where the card has gone?
During my frustration Crystal has a very bad attitude and didn't seem like she was too concerned. I am in customer service myself and would never want my customer feel that their query is not important or serious.
The fact that my card is missing is a huge security risk for me as a customer. Who has my card and what are they going to do with it?
It is now 6 days later and still no one has contacted me or attempted to make me feel like a valued customer. Has someone found my card?
Don't worry Standard Bank, I will take it upon myself to cancel my card and order a new one to ensure that there is no on my account and I WILL start looking at alternatives for moving to a bank that will assist me and see me as a valued customer.
