Paying Credit Card... Why???

We have been excellent clients to Standard Bank for many, many years - religiously paying our accounts every month. Since December last year, we have been receiving messages that we haven't paid my husband' credit card and that the card will be suspended.
I have once again followed up with them - they have required proof of payment which I have forwarded to them but how do I prevent Mobile Phone messages advising me of non payments - yet I have proof of payment?
