Poor service regarding insurance claim

ABSA building insurance:
19 March reported sewerage problem in our home. I mentioned that it might be related to a previous underground water leek that we had. Initially old claim number was given. Then a new number was given, but this was never relayed to me. An assessor came out. Looked at the area, measured the square meter of the house. Two days later the claim was rejected. To date still no reason provided. We repaired the damages out of our own pocket. We have been paying our insurance regularly for more than ten years and I feel that courtesy on the part of this company was severely lacking.
