Absa paid up letter on settled debt

During the financial problems in 2008 I lost my job and as a result ended up with a lot of debt that I had to pay off facing judgements and legal calls and letters on a daily basis. Now that I have finally paid of most of the accounts Absa just doesn't update ITC or send me my paid up letters!! I tried the attorneys who was contracted to collect the debt, they just keep on telling me they requested it from Absa... since November 2012!

We tried the Absa action line... still waiting. So after all the threats I kept to my end of the deal but now they don't care. This is making it impossible for me to open much needed accounts for my business thus costing me money!!

Any ideas or help please.
