I will never recommend Absa funeral policy

My father passed away on the 21 March 2013, I made enquiries on the 22 March 2013 as to the process of claiming the funeral policy that I took on behalf of my father. I was told what documentation to fax and I faxed all required documents on the 26 March 2013 and I did a follow up on the 28 March and I was told that they only received the information on that day. My father's funeral was on the 30 March 2013 and I could not pay the funeral palour. I had to use my own money to pay the funeral costs. I am spending money on long phonecalls and faxing information back and forth. This is the most stressful time in my life and Absa has not made it easy. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I will cancel the funeral policy that I have with them. I am highly dissapointed and disgusted with Absa. The promise of paying out within 48 hours is a and they are aware of that.
