Funeral cover - not paying as they promise!!???

My Father passed away in January 2013 - all these years he paid for funeral cover and now that he died, we are STILL waiting for the promised funeral policy money.

Metropolitan promises that they will pay within 48hours of death - well, that is a and they even put in on contract??
First I have been trying to contact them, first excuse: - the policy doesn't exists - after I proofed the policy, they promised payment within 48 hours, but now it looks more life 48 days to me??
Everyday I need to follow up - and the answer is always: - "It is with our Head Office in Cape Town, nothing we can do..."

Very quick to take your policy money, but when they need to pay all sorts of stories - I will NEVER recommend Metropolitan to any of my colleges, friends or family!
