First National Bank
SmartPhone Debit Order - Pathetic

Business & Finance

I logged a report previously with FNB which was supposedly going to be resolved.

I took out a contract last year around Octobober 2012 for a phone.

They have not ONCE debited my account. This results in a delaying of payment for my phone.

They then informed me that it would be resolved and they would begin debiting my account from the 25th March 2013, pathetic considering the email was dated 5th FEB!

However, now I am forced to pay the phone over 24 months from whenever they decide to fix this.

This forces me to remain a customer an extra - 6 months should I want to pay my phone off "gracefully".

Why should I have to an extra 6 months to be able to go on another contract?

Why should I be forced to have my start date of my contract pushed forward?

I will be considering legal action if possible.

THIS IS SNIPPET FROM EMAIL - 5th FEB from Gladys

Please be advised that due to the system error on our side, debit orders are not set up on your FNB cheque account for the smart device.

The first debit order will only go off on the 25th of March, please also be advised that at the moment the debit order date is a fixed date for the 25th of every month.
