Who ever is really struggling financially be prepared for disappointment. Received a SMS stating I qualify for a payment break for a month on my loan, I phoned the called center entered my ID and it was clearly stated I qualify for a payment break to speak to the consultant and I actually don't qualify. I know I am not the only one struggling, but to get excited about having extra money really does one justice, then to get let down like that is really unethical and unprofessional to state the least, I would not accept the call center agents apology, I did clearly state it is rather disgusting, in my eyes this is just false advertising. In general you get pushed from pillar to post with African Bank, this is just another cherry on top from them! The agent said that the SMS is sent to a selection of people, if I didnt qualify why select me and why on earth on receiving my ID number to it state I qualify for a payment break - honestly African Bank needs to get their ducks in a row! Lets not forget that I get debited monthly and I have NEVER missed a payment - my debit orders have NEVER bounced, for both my loans!
