I have been in a car accident recently, my first ever. I put in my claim with outsurance and the consultant emailed me to confirm the car will be written off. (i also had to phone the call centre for feedback as my email went unanswered) I asked the consultant to also explain the process to my father although car is on my name i was incredibly stressed. At first his words were "you are asking me to do more than expected of me cant you tell your father yourself? " They requested forms and spare key of the car. I sent documents via email and forms and spare key via their (outsurance) couriers. I have emailed the claims consultant a couple of times so he can just acknowledge he received everything he needs, I also asked how long does payout take. I have had no response. He doesnt keep me updated? I feel maybe Outsurance overwhelms their consultants with too much work? Now they cant even email me back just to give me peace of mind. I dont know if i will insure my new car with this company as the service i have received (wrt feedback) is incredibly poor. Did you receive the documents via email? did you receive the documents and spare key via courier? When can i expect the payout?
