Tried to take a loan

I am a honest single mother seeking desperate help and was referred to the above person at financial services that could help me. The first request was to send R1500. then another R500 and it just kept escalating that i should keep sending money in. I received an email from their head office saying my funds were transferred to the agent dealing with my file and was requested again to send in another R2000.00. after contacting the head office again, i was told there was no need for extra money from the head office but the agent insists i pay in or my file will be cancelled.
I have paid in over R8000 to this and still have nothing. How do people live with themselves and sleep at night taking people's hard earned money who are looking for a chance to make their lives right and start again.
