Poor service and unfair treatment

I called Santam on the 04th March to report a claim for my cell phone, i was told by the person capturing the claim that i will pay an excess of R250 and that i should send a quote of the phone costs. I submitted this and waited for 3 days without any communication from Santam, i then called and was transfered to Ishmael, he then told me he wont be paying the claim because my cell phone is not specified, i disagreed and referred him to a previous claim that they had paid for my cell phone less than 12 months ago, he then made a second excuse to say that they paid that claim because it was in the house and they wont pay this because it was out my bag in the shopping mall . i was upset and told him that i will cancel my policy, he told me do go right ahead, this tells me that u don't need my business. A cell phone is an item that you carry with you all the time, so how can Santam make excuses not to pay my claim, surley any client would be under the impression that the cell phone is insured because a previous claim was paid. If Santam does not pay this claim WHICH IS DUE TO ME, i will cancel my policy and I WILL GO TO THE CONSUMER COUNCIL WITH THIS
