Blacklisted for what?

I want to buy a house, but the banks declined it because Nedbank blacklisted me, I never had an account with Nedbank, no personal loans, no credit card, nothing!!! They didn't even phoned me to tell me about an account, they have sms me two weeks ago and said they have blacklisted me and put a conduct on my name, I thought they've got the wrong cellnumber, because I never had an account with them. I want my name clean asap, otherwise I will speak to my lawyer!
