I have been harassed by phone up to 20 times a week for almost a year by Nedbank Call Centre regarding the repayment of my personal loan. This is following over a year of meetings with bank managers, emails to various staff and constant repetitions of the same story with countless rude, unhelpful and arrogant call centre staff. I have paid my loan every month but at an AGREED lower rate due to an accident that led to a change of jobs and a lower salary. Nedbank refuses to take the money from my account. It just sits there and they say they wont accept the lower amount. Its the full amount or nothing. They have blacklisted me which has made it impossible to get credit elsewhere to repay them. I changed banks to get a loan to pay them back but because they blacklisted me I can't. NEDBANK - I CANT AFFORD HIGHER REPAYMENTS. And no amount of rude and angry phonecalls late at night or early morning is going to change my circumstances. I am at my wits end! I am trying my best and I am repaying only R500 less a month than previously agreed. I have been a perfect customer for almost 10 years and now you are treating me like a unlucky number on a screen. I am a human being!
