REVOLVING PERSONAL LOAN DECLINED FOR NO REASON

I went to standard bank midrand for a loan application on Wed 09.01.2013 and i was told that i should be able to get a response the following day which I didnt, I then contacted the call centre and i was told someone tried to contact my office, but they will try again. Today i decided to check with them again and i was told my application was declined. I was given a number 0861292273 to call so that they will give me a reason only to be told that i have to bank with them for 3months before they can give me the loan.

Why was i asked to bring a bank statement then, if i have to then wait for 3 months.
The reason why we ask for time off from work to go and apply for a loan is that we have an urgent problem to sort out yet i am being told to wait for 3months for you guys to see how i am handling my account? I have alreay switched to standard bank and the lady who assisted me with the application never mentioned such a story of waiting for 3 months.

Why cant you use the bank statement i brought to see how i handle my account. I applied for a loan to use now not after 3 months.

Can someone please assist.
