I applied for a loan at African Bank on Tuesday 12 March 2013.First my loan was approved and then declined. I got a call on Saturday 16 March from a consultant to confirm my details and she said the money was being disbursed as we speak and that I should go into the branch to finalize activation of the credit card. When I got to the branch I was told that my loan went to Forensic Assessment where it got declined. All I got from African Bank is an email saying "Your loan has been declined"... thats it. No reason as to why and even the branch can't tell me why. The Branch manager said that the application was captured incorrectly from the start, please explain to me how this is MY problem, I didn't capture the application. Why did African Bank give me false hope? Why was my application declined? Nobody has any explanations for me. I am extremely disappointed in the service I got at African Bank.
